Walking Coach
Ya know, there's been a lot of hitting and No-that's-mine-ing and NO-BABY-ing around here lately, but then we have moments like this:

Great Grandma's Visit
My grandma Joyce took the big trip up here to visit us. It was so nice to see her again. I had a great time, and I know the kids did too. She took most of these pics:
Thanks for coming!

Raspberry Peekaboo
Finally got this to work, after a week! I was worried I'd have to move the blog or something.
Anyway, here's something cute from last week:
And the aftermath (hey Brian, you know those bins you lent us?):

Crawling, Singing and Snacking
Man, these kids just don't stop growing, do they? Everyone's got a little bug today, so they're napping early (10am) and together. Hallelujia! New stuff:
Eva's crawling now! She doesn't go far yet, but it won't take her long to figure out she can range.
Eva's eating pieces of fruit
Jackson loves to sing

Fun With Boxes
I was going to be one of those parents who was strong and hardly ever let her kids watch TV. But then there's this thing that happens in our house. It's called morning. That's when you realize how many things need feeding all at once, not to mention clothing, tooth brushing, etc for the humans. It used to be I just did it with no electronic help, but kids eat fast in the morning. At least, faster than I can feed everything else, get the coffee maker going, make some breakfast myself and eat it. So now we have this:
Oh, and since we're playing with boxes:
Children being happily entertained while mom gets caffeinated.
Oh, and since we're playing with boxes:
What a good sport

Making The Best Of Things
While we all are missing our house, the place where we are staying is nice. The kids have found ways to have fun here:
Playing with curtains
Playing hide and seek
Hey, there's even room for horsie rides!

Our House Is Still Getting Fixed
Heya. For those of you who are curious what our house looks like right now, here it is:
I've got some cute vids of the kids that I'll upload to YouTube tonight and post tomorrow, if the technology cooperates. TTFN.

Christmas
I'm a little behind. That's like my motto. That, or Mommy Needs To Check The Laundry.
Anyway.
Christmas was wonderful. I missed my family from the island and my grandma terribly, but it was great to spend time with our family up here, plus Evan and Caily. Christmas morning, we were pretty wrapped up in the moment (see what I did there?), so the camera wasn't really in the picture (somebody stop me). Thank goodness Cathie had the presence (presents? No? Ah well, I tried) of mind to snap a few when she got here, and when we went to her place. Here's what Christmas looked like here:

There's the big, beautiful, clutzy tree. Thing fell down 3 times before we tied it to the scratching post (thanks Brian). Jackson loved that tree. Me too. I like big clutzy things. Like our new dog. Birds of a feather . . .
